Bridal fashion week just passed, in New York City, where designers were able to showcase their newest looks and bridal trends for 2017. We are so exited to share with you what the newest trends are for the upcoming year and give you a sneak peak into bridal designers fall 2017 lines.
The white wedding gown continues to be a thing of the past. Blush and champagne were still ruling the runway. Many designers took inspiration from boudoir shoots, with slinky sheath gowns, deep plunging v-necks, as well as open backs. You will find even more sheer illusion elements on the bodices of gowns as well as across the neckline. We also saw gowns featuring slits showing off the leg and even sheer skirts.
Coachella vibes have hit the wedding gown scene. Off the shoulder is the new strapless! Designers are providing a more laid back feel with boho inspired looks for 2017 brides. They are mixing the tradition of long lace sleeves, and pairing it with straighter skirts and plunging necklines.
A lot of gowns feature detailed trains and brides will be pairing them with a dramatic veil as well as caplets. The most popular fabric is still lace, but we are seeing more beading, embroidery, and 3-D floral elements to gowns this year.
So no matter if you are a trendy, romantic, traditional, or boho bride there will most certainly be a look for you to fall in love with. As always stay true to who you are and find a gown that fits not only your body shape, but your style. And when you try on that perfect gown you will know! We cannot wait to see all you 2017 brides in our boutiques soon. You will definitely be spotting these trends hanging on our racks!
