Trend #1: Did you say two-pieces?
Yes, that’s right! Two-piece gowns have become a big trend this 2018 season. They are definitely a show-stopper and you can’t go wrong. There are so many options to pick from. For example, pictured below you have a fully embellished beaded top with a fit & flare floral skirt! Even if you’re not a fan of the beading or floral detail you could always find A-line skirts with either a simple top or if you’re feeling bold BLING it up!
Trend #2: That sheer touch!
Sooo..the two piece isn’t really for you… too much skin showing? Have no fear, you could step out in a gown that has an illusion back or an illusion deep v in the front of the gown. You could even have a sheer overlay, like the dress pictured below, on top of a nude underlay. Sexy but chic!
Trend #3: Look back at it (open backs)
Have you fallen in love yet? Open back and sequins…what more could you want? Look elegant all while being bold at the same time! Here’s a quick way of showing off some skin… but not too much. A perfect way to wear an open back is to have your hair up or to the side in maybe, just maybe a messy fishtail braid or loose waves. Don’t forget to take that awesome over the shoulder shot for Instagram!
Trend #4: Be bold!
Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Totally! Colors are everything this prom season! From beautiful shades of blue to red to that perfect shade of pink! Step out in a simplistic gown, and the color will have heads turning your way! Trend #5: Hi to the low!
