I will start this blog post by saying I love King of Prussia, so don’t get me wrong! We are very fortunate to live so close to the second largerst mall in America. But it is not where I send any of my friends to dress shop. I have always worked in a small boutique and maybe that is why shopping small is close to my heart. But I have done the shopping in the big department stores personally, and I have been less than impressed.
When we started this second location here in West Chester we were very focused on having all of our favorite designers and just plain fun pieces. We really wanted the mother of the bride/groom to feel special and not like she is the grandmother of the bride! Jovani, Montage, VM Collection, Rina di Montella, Mon Cheri, Tadashi, and Terani are just a few of the great desginers we carry. We want women to know that they don’t have to be pushed to a big department store and wear a dress that someone else at the wedding or event may have.
I can’t tell you how many women have shopped with us, and could not purchase because they felt a need to go to the mall and shop Nordstrom. Those same women always come back a few days later and tell me, “I should have listened to you and skipped the mall!” So save yourself a trip ladies and skip the crowds!
Our Ardmore location has an entire lower level dedicated to prom. I know everyone keeps popping in here looking for it. But unfortunately, we just ran out of room here! Prom in Ardmore is always growing and changing, and you are sure to find something! Keep checking the website as we update it whenever new gowns come in.
So come in and see us before you hit up the mall, and I can personally guarentee you we will be worth the trip. See you soon!
